Journaling: I am going into 2026 with a literal fresh new start. After what I endured the last three years putting my life on hold while battling cancer twice, I am a completely new person. I see the world differently because of what breast cancer took from me, and I look at myself differently. I don't like the way I look, but I remind myself what I went through and what I endured and I have come to accept the person staring back at me in the mirror. Now that the cancer is gone, I am done with school and have my bachelor's degree it is time for this gal to have her moment, her life. I can never make up for lost time just live my life to the fullest everyday.
Beautiful page and lovely take on the challenge! Your journaling is phenomenal (congrats on the Bachelor's degree and especially, winning your battle!) and so uplifting. I love the scalloped paper and its border - and really love the fantastic title!
Honeybee, I am so touched by your journaling - your writing is beautiful. I am glad you have battled the cancer and won. Beauty shines through your eyes, not your mirror. Remember that you are strong and beautiful and a conqueror! And you scrap beautifully!!!!! Love the patterned scallop and the choice to use B&W photos. LOVE the title.
Congrats on your Bachelors and but especially on conquering cancer not once, but TWICE!!!! I am also trying to pick myself up and rebuild myself after cancer, though my journey has only been about a year and a half. Wishing you the very best of health, every success and happiness in the future, and remember to be gentle and patient with yourself. You've been through a lot!!! One step at a time! Bug hugs!!!
