This week was almost completely different from last. The temperature dropped, we stayed in most of the time and kept to ourselves.

I made a few new things from old and new recipes - the Cajun jalapeno poppers with crab were definitely repeatable and I really liked the broccoli cheddar soup. Jason wasn’t as much of a fan - he objected to the broccoli part of it. On Saturday we made our own version of “Bagel BELT” sandwiches with ham, eggs and Monterey jack cheese in toasted bagels. The silicon egg rings I had picked up for the griddle worked pretty well for the eggs but we couldn’t fill them too full or the bottoms of the egg rounds got too brown before the tops set. Dylan and I put jalapeno peppers in our eggs which really made the sandwiches “pop” in terms of flavour. Rory was here for the week and I have never seen a dog so fond of watching TV, he even barks at it!
