Journaling:
The last three years of my life that breast cancer took from me. The chemo, loosing my hair, all the stays in the hospital, radiation, the skin burns, the numerous biopsies, tests, procedures, a blood transfusion, operations, and the eventual double mastecomy that drastically changed me. I am not just different on the outside, but the inside as well. I see the world from a different perspective. I know how precious life is and how important it is to live every single day. How amazed I am at those who were there, and disappointed in those who weren’t. I know cancer will always be apart of my life and who I am now, but I want to find a way to move forward and no longer dwell on the pain. I am strong and I know I can handle more than I thought I could. Now it is time to move forward and never look back.
