I have a small (heheh) collection of miniature Nativity scenes, so love seeing them. I'm all about a stitched edge finish and all the circular shapes look so great w your looping string doing the tie in so perfectly. Interesting mix of stars and snowflakes in the different iterations, like the clever triangles.

Is that a knitted set, I have one just like it! I have a bunch of nativity scenes too. My favourite used to be one that came from deepest Africa. Each one was a native African. It was carved out of a very light wood with an exquisite grain for the clothing and a very dark wood for the faces and hands. It was gorgeous. When I was downsizing, I gave it to Karen and it is put up faithfully every year.

The layout is gorgeous. I love the stress on the shapes, the circles, the stars and the triangles. Your cluster is absolutely gorgeous backed by a giant snowflake. Love the bokeh running down the back, like snow through. Your string anchored on the snowflake is heavenly.

Oh Jill, this is just beautiful. I like the repetition of circles on the page. I like the way that you complemented the knitted nativity with the stitching around the border of the page too.

Gentle, peaceful, holiday design packed with nostalgic memories of childhood for all those who remember and practice their faith.

LOVE the soft, ivory background...reminiscent of snow, clouds and heavenly thoughts. The bits of gold drifting down the page...the attractive stitched border...and the white space design-Perfection!

This is so nice. I love nativity sets and have some myself. My favorite is one I inherited from my mother-in-law which is a set made of the olive tree wood from Bethlehem. I treasure it. I like how you used the circles and the song to embellish your photo with.
