Harley enjoys our nature walks where we find interesting things to look at and learn about. Some days it might be leaves, other days it might be feathers, or snails, it could even be a combination of several different and interesting things. On this day it was slaters, he is fascinated by them...all those tiny legs that tickle when they scurry around on the palm of his hand, and how they roll up into tiny balls. He also found a worm on this nature expedition...a very successful catch. Good thing I dont mind enjoying all those creepy crawlies along with him. I do draw the line at slugs and spiders though

Sweet photo! I love the clustering around it and the journaling in the envelope. I also like the drawn page frame.

I love seeing the excitement in Harley's face at the treasures he has found. I enjoyed reading the journaling about the nature walk as well. My favorite feature, though, is the way that you used the envelope and tucked so many of the different treasures into it.

Oh my, what a great tribute to the mighty bug hunter. I love all his little odds and ends he tucked into the envelope to keep them around. I am glad the snails stayed outside with the slugs and spiders. He looks delighted!

What a heartwarming addition to Harley's childhood scrapbook. That smile that goes on for miles says it all. He's very proud of his Big Bug Hunter exploration, capture and collection. Kudos to him!

And we can all thank the heaven above that he's not into taxidermy and mounting his framed collection on his bedroom wall.

Yet. :)
