This photinia shrub keeps on giving....it is evergreen, low maintenance, drought tolerant and graces my garden with beautiful red leaf tips in early spring followed by a profusion of tiny white bee attracting flowers. At the time of the first three photos, the shrub was in bud and I find that to be just as attractive as all the other stages in the seasonal habits of this tree. A week or so later, it was in full bloom.

Fascinating! I really love seeing the progression. The scallopy border really nailed the color combo of that plant, didn't it? The skinny loopy string and the winged critters are great compliments.
