Journaling:
Hvítserkur is a unique basalt rock formation that rises from Húnaflói Bay in northwestern Iceland. It was a bit of a drive on dirt roads to get there but it was worth it.
We had a nice time hiking along the edge of the beach, and the black sand was stunning!
There’s a seal colony nearby but we didn’t see any seals when we were there.
