Our son was stationed in Hawaii with the Marine Corps where he flew a Cobra helicopter. We were able to go visit 3 different times during his 4 years serving there. Hawaii was never a place I thought I would get to visit before our son was there. We got to attend his promotion to Captain on the second trip and meet our first grandson.
