Here is Kirra aged four planting
daisies in the garden.
Her mother has always said that
when Kirra was first learning to
talk the first word she ever said
clearly was “flower”. I remember
one time we were looking after
the girls when they were little. I
think Kirra was about 3 year old.
As we walked to a shop for
icecreams, Kirra was
busy picking a flower
or two from someone’s
garden on the way.
One year for a
birthday gift we
gave her a plant
which was a hibiscus.
Her Poppa helped her
plant it and it was still
surviving some years
later.
