I'd never seen a Ring of Fire Eclipse and was delighted it was only 2 hours southwest from where we live. That started a hunt for other events. In April 2024, went to Texas for the Total Eclipse with my -in-laws, 2 brothers-in-law and my sister. In October 2024 we could see the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet from our backyard, but I wanted to see it at my favorite abandoned Church in Taiban, New Mexico, an hour west of our house. All caught with my S21 Samsung phone camera. The eclipses required an eclipse filter.

I didn't even know they made eclipse filters for cell phones (but of course they do!!) This is a really great page. Love the vibe of night magic created w your colors, title and that cool sun/moon/ring of fire element.
