Summer in Sweden

Back in the early 60's I worked at the Perkins School for the Blind, in Watertown, MA. Kerstin, who was blind, came from Sweden to study English. Of the same age, we became fast friends. When she returned home I went with her and spent my summer with her family. They rented a house on Oland for a month and Kerstin and I and her friend Birgitta spent two weeks there with them... the trip was a wonderful experience and made some never to be forgotten memories!
