Whale sharks are not whales, though their diet might make you think so. They are filter-feeders like the baleen whales (Right whales, Gray whales and Blue whales). They have tiny teeth but can’t even bite or chew. They are amazingly big and if they reach adulthood they can live up to about 150 years. I love watching them when we go to the GA Aquarium, which we did when we visited our relatives in May .

I've been watching some shark week shows...fascinating that people can get so close to them sometimes! You have also captured some great photos!
