Shortcake Biscuits

Buttermilk biscuits were one of the first recipes I helped my great-grandma make when I was little. She always made them for shortcake biscuits for the Fourth of July. Erin had a potluck for the Fourth, and I decided to make a vegan recipe that I'd never made before.
I made a triple batch, and they turned out heavier than I thought they would. They would be good with ice cream but were a little heavy for whipped cream. Next time I'll add some baking soda to make them fluffier.
I used the following kits by the GingerBread Ladies: "Berry Pickin'", "Sugar & Spice Bakery", and "Bring On Spring." I also used "Recipe Card Mini August 2024" by Let Me Scrapbook, "Spring is in the Air" by Connie Prince, and "KG Only Hope" is the font. The template is "Picture Perfect 224" by Aprilisa Designs.
