I’m back with my yearly rant about Easter Hot Cross Buns. . .in particular the fact that they appear on the supermarket shelves the day after Christmas and the messing about with traditional flavours. . .is nothing sacred any more?!? I ventured beyond my own supermarket this year on the search for sacrilege and found that they’ve really gone all out! So far I have seen Fairy Bread (which comes with a packet of 100s and 1000s for sprinkling), Banoffee, Biscoff, Caramilk, and my own supermarket feature. . .Wagon Wheel flavour!! Iced VoVo and Vegemite flavours are making a come back after apparently being popular last year (really?) In my humble opinion NOTHING beats the original) although I just MAY have to give the Caramilk flavour a try :)

It's BACK!!! And I'm enjoying this year's edition...all the different varieties (in photos!)...the personal opinion...the detailed descriptions...and then....wait for it.... admission of choosing one of the not original flavors.

What a dilemma...what a delightful page to welcome the coming of Easter.
You did it again...and spectacularly too!

I was thinking I had commented on this before, but it must have been last year's haha! I get it, I totally get it. Fabulous journaling and even fabulouser pic and topic. I might have a go at the caramilk one too, if we can even FIND a hot cross bun here in America. Beautiful clusters, perfect arrows and fabbity title.
