Journaling: Thomas was not feeling great - getting teeth, had a bad time with a fever earlier in the week but even so he was doing well for a little guy of 15 months after a trip to Costco. Back at Grandma's he started his usual play of pulling the DVDs off the shelf and then I brought out the blocks. They are colourful, kind of like memory foam and he had a great time taking them out of the bucket (they will NEVER fit back in; I think they built the bucket around the blocks), carrying them around and of course, tasting them. He was so funny as he mimicked putting the blocks back - he would lift the lid of the bucket, put a block in and then put the lid back on. I think it took his mind off the teeth and runny nose, at least for a little while.
