Square Dance 2-9-12

Sarah is the last of my daughters to do the 1st Grade Square Dance. Jake has two more years but wont get a dress! I have hand made each of the girls dresses so it's kind of bittersweet that she is the last one!

Wow! You're very talented. I've always wanted to learn to sew. My mom used to sew dresses for me too. Very nice.

First I have to say what a wonderful idea for the school to do something special for the 1st grade. I love the BW photo and the way you stapled down the ribbon.

What a beautiful dress and a lovely way to remember this tradition!! The large flowers look great bordering that lovely photo and make it look like she's sitting in a garden!

the sepia(or is it b/w?) foto looks so romantic and vintage.. i love those 3 little ribbons going around the foto and holding the flowers in place..cute beads scatter
