OK - I get sticky date and butterscotch, but pizza? Are they really hot cross buns if they are pizza flavoured? We could make a case for sticky dates being fruit bits, but what part of pizza could you make a case for? I don't think so. Now, having said that I am interested in Iced VoVo biscuits. Are they yummy? I mean, if you have biscuits, do you really want hot cross buns in the same flavour? It is sort of like having VoVo mince pies - you just don't! I love hot cross buns, and we don't see them here. I should bake some. Having said all this - the page concept is fun fabulous, and enduring. In a thousand years, someone will want to know that someone made a pizza hot cross bun and failed! The cluster has beautiful layers and is quite lovely. The bow with the long stringy tail was getting away! Good that you firmly pinned it with the button. Well done on that. Now, can we do something about regulating hot cross buns?
