Jill this page is just fantastic I love how you used the brush on the background. I did a page recently about hot air ballons and I did not understand Glee's comment about looking for the brush and now I do. I have not really looked at the challenges this month. I really should have used this brush and I might try to do another page with it. Your clusters are always so fantastic and I like the pretty font you used for the title

Fascinating page, my dear. This book/author/story/art was heretofore unbeknowst to me, so thank you. I love the soft colors you used to match the book cover and the sky whale balloons in the golden light (dawn, dusk??) It must've been quite a sight. I see the challenge brush so cleverly made into a perfect bg pattern. Whenever we see humpback whale footage, I always remark how they look otherworldly, and with their long flippers, as if they are indeed flying. hmmm food for thought. I do like how she ties it in to the general wonder and appreciation of nature.
