OMGoodness...these lorikeets are gorgeous. How lucky to enjoy them in nature and not in a zoo. SUPER photos, love the single stroke framing that makes them pop off the page and your ribbon that ties everything together...like a gift that it is!

Words escape me - and I could cry from envy. Your photos of the bottlebrush are so much more impressive than those I found with a quick google search before - and to have a lorikeet perched in them - life is good! Love everything about this page - that it was constructed with different designer goodies, the masked photo and the way it blends to show that simple flower design of the paper, the grunge, the bed of foliages that resembles the the bottlebrush topped by the doily and the the reigning king- that large red bow! OMG And not a single flower a the page - a change of direction for you! Oh - and love the title work, too.

Jill how wonderful what pretty birds I would love to have those in my yard and that bush is just popping with color. Of course your layout is just wonderful I like the font you used for the title and that artsy background paper

By popular demand!! What a sight. Really, right outside your door? So blessed. Ok, now i'm kindof wondering why you didn't Dream da kine this?? Maybe it would be overwhelminng? We do have that bottlebrush tree in Hawaii, and some wild (escaped from pets long ago) parrot colonies. A big one lives in the botanical garden back in Manoa and they sound like a herd(?) of pterodactyls when they start to screech.
I am noting your Jillribbon and great titlework, since I'm technically supposed to say something about your actual scrapping and not just Glitheron about nothing....

Love rainbow lorikeets and what fabulous photos of them perched in the bottlebrush. Actually, love the vivid flowers of bottlebrushes too. Your layout is wonderful. So many goodies, bits of paint and texture everywhere. You've found the perfect ribbon/bow to tie it all together. Another stunning layout.

I love the title and absolutely adore the bright colours and blending. Your ribbon work is positively scrumptious.>>
