The Bats are Back

Wow! Thats alot of Bats! Love the circle shapes and the big bold title! The pretty clusters add a special touch!

Fascinating and definitely a bit creepy. Your text is intriguing. We supposedly have a native bat here, but they are rare and so never flocked like that. Your colors add to the spooky vibe. I love your mix of alpha and font in your title. Wonderful clusters, set w the perfect drooping bow. I'm always into a messy edge, and this one is so suitable. Using photos as bg layer works marvelously w this template. Nice job!!

Scary and mesmerizing at the same time. Whenever there are a huge number of anything...the fear factor kicks in. Although when it comes to bats the marjority of the time is it unwarranted. They are excellent <em>harmful insect</em> eaters and without them many tropical flowers would not exist.

Wow, there really are a lot of them, I thought it was leaves on the tree at first. I really enjoyed reading your journaling as it taught me some things that I didn't know already.

Red and black remind me of Halloween. So spooky. I can't imagine seeing so many bats in one place. You did such a great job of telling the story.

GREAT title alpha. >>We have bats around here, but they don't hang in the trees. Well, they might, but I don't see them during the day. My husband points them out at night when they flock. They are pretty small. What you did not mention was that some of yours have a wingspan of 1.5 meters (5 feet) and a body length of 40cm (16 inches). Jilly Billy, that is awfully big. Wow, spectacular photos. I haven't seen so many bats together. I can imagine that you are not very happy with their presence. Were I live there are bats but much smaller ones and not that many. You can only see them at dusk. Gorgeous page!

Wonderful layout Jill. Love the pops of orange. The clusters and title are wonderful, just love everything about the whole layout. I have some very similiar photos from a similiar experience in a park in Bendigo last month. Such an interesting sight and so noisy !
