He's that old already?? I was admiring this sweet page and then scrolled down to comment...well, of course, it would be one of your pages I love, love, love how you used this kit! Putting the fire hat on his head is brilliant; the water droplets are perfectly shadowed; Love the embellishing around the photo, and the netting is the perfect final touch. I wholeheartedly agree about modern toys and noises. Plus the child's noises are far easier on a parent's nerves, haha. I love this kit! Your use of torn paper with the red is nice and the smoke blending in the background is fabulous. Love the hat on Harley's head and the little picture of Harley with the dog holding the hose at the bottom. OK, I know it's not REALLY him, but it is cute.

You know, my kids are only teenagers now and I agree with you about toys making too many noises of their own. I didn't get too many toys for them that made their own sounds.
I really enjoyed reading the journaling that you did.
