Milky Way birthday

We spent my birthday last year camping in a dark sky preserve. We photographed the Milky Way (with a crescent moon that looks full in the photos!) as a family, had Publix cupcakes, and stretched out in our BIG tent. It was perfect.

I always wonder whether photographing the Milky Way for birthdays is something other people would enjoy. I started the tradition on my son's birthday, did my best work on my birthday, and managed to capture some *with my son* for my husband's birthday. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves this.
