Oh my, this is just SO cool! I absolutely love the combination of the bold red colors in the large truck against the more faded vintage-y colors of the background paper. What a great sense of perspective and depth, too. It really looks like the truck is driving towards us and towards the left. That is awesome journaling in the top right, too -- love the font, love the globe stamp, and love how you chose certain words to box and highlight. In fact, there is nothing about this I don't love. I feel like the truck is driving right off of the layout!! What you've done to that large photo is absolutely amazing!! Your simple clustering of elements at the top is absolutely perfect and I just love the way you've done your journaling! Congrats on being nominated, you definitely deserve it!!

Oh this is really cool how you incorporated the photo of the semi truck into the BG paper. Great journaling too, and such an interesting way to see the world I guess huh. The grass is always greener right...when you're on the road you want to be home and when you're home you want to be on the road I am sure that even though you are retired, you prolly miss it a little. Really creative page, congrats on the nomination!
