Centuries of History

I was struck by the amount of details which still remain. The mosaics, constructed with tiny little chips of stone. Nothing like the modern glass and ceramic tiles, which are identical to one another in every way, but subtly different, mostly squared, but a little more angular here, there. The marks of the handmade, but the handmade of masters- stuff that we couldn't manage today, probably. Were they considered masters of their craft then, or was splitting stones into mosaic squares the equivalent of burger flipping? Asking the real questions. These Building Blocks for Summer Fun pocket templates from Miss Fish have been absolutely clutch on getting through my pages- sure I waited 16 years to scrap these pages, but now that I've started, I want to get it done! https://bit.ly/MFish_BBSF1-4

Great photos!I like the blocked design and the framing of the photos. Beautiful flower clusters and great vertical title work.
