The week before Thanksgiving I took my DH to the Emergency Room which began a series of 9 ER visits and a frightening and frustrating journey to the surgery he will have next week. My days ever since have revolved around flushing his catheter and then infusing medicine into it 3 times a day. Those tasks have dictated all our other daily activities for about 4 months now and will continue to do so for at least another 3 weeks.
