The family are so fortunate to have this small hobby farm down on the peninsula to where they can escape from the hustle and bustle of their city lives. Our grandkids have benefited so much from the simple life experiences they have enjoyed here across their childhood and now into adulthood. This campout in the back paddock was one such fun adventure. Sam was 6 and the twins 4 at the time of this photo...2008

Great how you have you have blended your families photo into the page with the great clusters along the sides. Like your title and the journaling under it so nice they have such a nice place to go and unwind from city life. Very nice page

Jill, this is beautiful. You are right that your family is lucky to have a place like that where they are able to enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet. Honestly, it is the need for peace and quiet that is drawing me to move away from the city. In fact, I would love to have a hobby farm.

Your photo blended into the background is awesome.

You must have posted this right after I logged off (to read!) last night. I LOVE it. I want to be right there with them and their rosy chubby cheeked glory. Of course I mean my 35 year old self, maybe possibly my 45 year old self. Certainly not my nigh on to 70 year old self. With their attention on the ever alluring fire and sticks in hand, plus the inclusion of tent, cooking set up, and even a chair for mum, your photo really captures it all. I like the way you found an echoing color paper to magically blend the scene into. Every loving detail, flower, fence, string, word art card, et al, and the requisite journaling, set the scene so well. Call me when supper's ready or it's time to roast the marshmallows!!

Jill, what a precious photo and wonderful journalled memories! Love the warm earthy tones and wonderful clusters! Fun font choice for your title and well placed word tags too! TFS!

Sniff...sniff...what's cookin? Is it something for tea...the catch of the day? A hearty stew? Whatever it is, whoa...set another place for me.
Amazing photo that has it all...tent, campfire, hungry lads...with adventure stories/memories to last a lifetime.
You set the scene perfectly with the proper outdoor hues, camp glam clustering, smoky atmosphere, and genius use of the photo mask!!

Oh Jill what a wonderful layout and memory, this page goes into my must save folder, love that photo and you always make the most amazing clusters on a page, I want to go there and camp

When I grow up, I want to be you! Your background picture is beautifully blended. I love the colours you have chosen - they are so campy! Your fire deserves a Girl Scout badge of honour! Nice use of word strips - beautifully button-pinned rope. Love the wood arrow thing. Everything about this is beautifully done. I don't think I have seen one of your pages that doesn't deserve to be nominated for BB. Sadly, I used mine this week.

Beautiful kit choice for this fabulous photo! WOW on the cluster work here along with the mask. I adore that fence element too. Thank you for playing the Pinterest Challenge here at GingerScraps!

Gorgeous page it pops us there right into that moment in time!! Love your cluster work!!
