Calico Ghost Town Schoolhouse

I used my photos and Scraps N Pieces' Desert Sunrise kit.
Links, Credits & Journaling
Journaling reads: The Calico Ghost Town was once a silver mining town in 1881. It became abandoned in the mid-1890s when silver began to lose its value. I can only imagine what it must have been like for the children going to school in this little countryside schoolhouse in the barren California desert.
Beautiful photos! I like the banner on top and the journaling at the bottom. Great paper choice too.

Such interesting journaling and an interesting place to see. The banner going across the top of the page adds well to the look of your well set out page.
