Yay, my oldest daughter had such a cabbage kiddie too, she loves her red dreadlocks ;) and I love your journaling paper in this transparent bag, that looks really great.

You took me back to my little girl days. Love the pictures you added from when you were a little girl and the journaling in the pocket.

I love this ... I had cabbage patch dolls too. What a great page ... love how you added the journaling in what looks like a plastic pocket. This is an awesome layout !

OH! I still have all my cabbage patch dolls as well and I'm well into my 30s! I hope to pass them down to my own children someday. I even have that lovely matador that you won in your competition! I like the use of the older photos with the up close photo of the dolls! Great LO

Oh lucky you to get TWO cabbage patch dolls! :) Beautiful page with some fantastic pictures! I really like your journaling as it pulls the page all together! Neat work with the transparent paper holder, using the clip at the top and your whole cluster. Super work on this week's challenge! Good luck in week 2!

love what you did in the b/g to perfectly illustrate the theme! Great photo - I remember those dolls, LOL!!! LOVE the transparent pocket! GREAT page! x

Yay, I still have mine too! Terrific LO and photos, love the story of your friends!

Cute page, the journaling in that pocket is great! Great clustering and I love the smaller pictures as hanging elements:) I had a cabbage patch too, but I don't have her anymore, they were sooooo popular!

I was actually a senior in high school when these dolls came out. My dad bought me one at a toy show which we joking called the blackmarket. The name the cabbage pack gave him was Willie Derrick and I took him to school with me and everyone including the boys wanted to see it. Willie even has his picture in our school yearbook. After that my family went overboard and bought me one every time a new style came out like a baseball player, clown, preemie, etc. I still have them all. One day while searching for something I came across one of the babies and my son Nick was not quite 2 yet. I asked him if he wanted a baby and he said yes but since I couldn't remember the dolls name we renamed him Andrew (Drew) James with the middle name the same as my son. Then 2 years ago Parent Magazine had a contest for back to school and Nick took Drew to kindergarten with him so we won a new style CPK which I gave to Nick that Christmas. Sorry this was a little long.

Love, love. love the layout! I remember my 1st cabbage patch doll, I got her for christmas, it had brown hair and blue eyes just like me! Your layout is wonderful, I love how you used the clear pocket for your journal card.

Great format for the page. Love the use of the pocket to hold your journaling and the scatter in the white space between it and cluster with pictures. The story is great and I'm glad you scrapped it.

Very cute lo indeed... Love the use of the big white frame just sitting on top of the photo and how you paperclipped the heart to it.. I especially love the little pictures of you... What a wonderful memory have your... Love how you tucked your journal note inside the clear plastic pocket

Love how you placed the journaling in a pocket. I still have my original cabbage patch doll from 1984 - I love her!! Thanks for sharing this.
