I actually only used a mask, no template.

Great photo, Jan! You did a terrific job with the mask and the brush. I hope it's okay to say that I like the placement of the brush in the top left-hand corner best. The cascade of red maple leaves is lovely (not sure but that's what they look like), the curled paper with the title is fabulous, and the bucket cluster in the corner couldn't be more perfect. Very nicely done!
