Anzac Day, held annually on April 25th, is a national day of commemoration in Australia and New Zealand marking the anniversary of the 1915 Gallipoli landing. It honours the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served in WWI, now commemorating all who served in war and peace operations

This looks like an awesome memorial to commemorate Anzac Day! The poppies are gorgeous and even here in the US, I know they stand for "Lest We Forget".
 
So many MANY people have given their lives to ensure freedom for others.
Lest we forget...NEVER!

Pages like these should appear more often...moments like these need whispers of "thank you."
 
These are beautiful pictures of a very important day. We also use 'lest we forget' in England. Your big poppies are so special and you always make torn papers look spectacular.
