A Hole in One

September 21st is Miniature Gold Day ... Ben and Christina chasing the golf ball around the windmills, moats and castles...lol
Links, Credits & Journaling
Miniature golf originated with the Ladies' Putting Club of St. Andrews, Scotland in 1867, but the game as it's known today was formalized in the U.S. by Garnet Carter in the late 1920s, who opened the first Tom Thumb Golf course on a resort in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. After a boom in the 1930s, the popularity of mini golf declined during the Great Depression but saw a revival after World War II with the addition of creative obstacles like windmills and castles, as well as more elaborate, themed courses.

Great photos! Miniature golf is so fun. I love the way you built the background with different papers and elements. Lovely page.
