A-Chorus-Line

JOURNALING: One of my favorite musicals was playing at the Short North Stage so I went to see it on April 13, 2025. The venue may be small, but the talent was huge. "A Chorus Line" is set in a Broadway theatre where the director is auditioning dancers for eight spots in his musical. This allows several members of the "Chorus Line" to shine in individual numbers as they tell their story. The show was originally produced in 1975 so some of the situations are a little dated, but the music is wonderful. The highlight, of course, is the final scene where the performers appear in gold costumes singing and precision dancing in line (think "Rockettes). I left the theatre humming that tune!
