I love marzipan so this is one of my favorites. I don't make it often because it is somewhat fiddly to make, the dough breaks easily and I never get the cover on in one piece, but it's sooo good! You can also use lemon jam, lemon zest, and lemon juice instead of all the orange.

Oh, I don't make the marzipan myself. Sorry if that came across wrong. I use plain marzipan for the filling for this "cake" (is it a cake?), they sell it in all supermarkets because it's a popular ingredient for winter baking here. But I don't make that type of cake often, either, because as I said, it's fiddly.
