In 1976, Lynnette was in church practicing music for the upcoming service. She was having trouble tuning her guitar when a handsome young man came up and offered to tune it for her. They got married in 1980 and in 2026, 50 years after they first met, Rand remains the love of her life!

Aw, great "meet cute" and aren't you two even cuter now than you were "back then." I do love hte way you put young Rand into an oval shape. The torn edge on your journal strip adds just a bit of contrast there. Perfection, as always, love.
What a lovely story! I like learning how people find their partners. I really love how you combined all that material and created such a page page. Congrats to you both for so many years of sharing your lives.
A really precious story and then and now photos Lynnie. Your scrappy skills are superb, your masking is always excellent, no doubt done from scratch, Im loving the lace and buttons down the side culminating in that photo of young Dave so elegantly presented in your oval shape preference. The tiny guitar and curling ribbon are giving me extra joy and the tattered journal paper is a nice detail as well. Always admirable!
I enjoyed reading the story of how you and Rand met. My parents were actually married in 1976, so this year they would have been celebrating their 50th anniversary, which is so hard to believe. I guess I will have to put it on my calendar to celebrate your 50th in 4 years.
