Journaling reads:
We homeschooled Bruce through Kindergarten, which finished at the end of May. He had June off, then on 7th July, 2025, we started 1st Grade. Language Arts, Math, Mathfacts and Science are online, followed by reading, writing and art. Bruce loves school and never argues about doing his work. We also supplement with educational programs on PBS Kids . He has taken to learning really well and he is wonderful to work with. This was one of the best decisions his parents ever made and I am lucky enough to participate.

One of the drawbacks to homeschooling can be the social aspect of a child’s life. To make sure Bruce gets lots of interaction with other children, his parents take him to gymnastic classes and he goes to “Luv 2 Play.” On Sundays, the parents take him on field trips to places like the Discovery Museum. Bruce has the best of both worlds.

I sometimes wonder if maybe this would have helped my older son (dyslexic, they still have no idea how to help kids w this in HI public school). But, I would have had to quite my job and it has provide us w health benefits and a great retirement plan which have come in handy. I love sissy watching him earnestly. I think I was like that w my big bro, too. Love that pencil frame and really cute title work. You are the princess of journaling (Katherine W is the queen.)

Bruce is thriving!!! What a lucky little boy to have such caring parents and sensational Nanna. Little Miss Scarlett will be well and truly ready for school when she is old enough..look at her concentrating on her brother's work! Love the title and banner, the little owl is a cute addition
