Journaling reads:
One of my favourite memories growing up is berry picking in the fields. When I got home, my nan would make a berry pie with whatever we managed to bring home after we had eaten our fill. The berries grow wild and in abundance. When James sent the picture of Luke out picking berries it brought a rush of nostalgia. If I close my eyes I can remember the feeling of picking the berries and the wonderful flavour of a berry just plucked from the thorns. Early 2025

I remember berry picking times as well. AND I remember the delicious jam and blackberry pies (with thick cream from our own cows)....yum!! Love the size you gave to the main photo, such a gorgeous scene with the berry patch in the foreground

This is really beautiful, and that view of the landscape in the background is stunning. I like the bright background and the child picking the berries as well. Very nice journaling too.
