So sorry your child and family have been personally affected by a school shooting- I can't imagine the terror and emotional after effects. I like how easy the white text on the dark teal paper is to read and the srisp clean look of the font. I like the pairing of the artistic character with the word bit.

Beautifully expressed feeling about horrific events that sadly the world is having to deal with on ever more frequent occasions. So sorry you were personally affected but glad all is well for you and yours. I love the floral patterned paper beneath the lovely deep teal over which the white journaling looks clean and vibrant.

Oh my goodness, Penny - I'm SO sorry to read about this. I really don't get the world today, but all I can do is have HOPE and pray that somehow someway everything will turn around and be better for our kids. Your layout is beautifully done and your journaling gave me chills it was so moving - I hope scrapping this one was a bit therapeutic for you as you process this horrible event.
