Journaling reads:
Karen had just turned six and her homework was to read a story with a parent and then dictate a summary and illustrate it. It was one of my favourite of her homework assignments and I hoped it would set her on the path to be a reader. She was a creative soul, though, and expressed herself instead through dance and crafts.

I love the photo and the story behind it. I think you must win the prize for the most kits used for one page - 13!! And yet everything looks like it goes together - nice job!

I really enjoyed reading the story about the pictures for your page. That homework assignment sounds like a really good one, and her drawings from the summary are incredible for a six year old.

OMIGOSH my mind is bobbled by that hugs list of credits!!!!!!! How special that you still have these photos! A very pretty page Lynnie, of course I love the curling string (held there with a button:)), I love how some of the flowers are spilling out of the clusters, love it all.

yay on the multi kit use; you know that's how I like to roll. Another incredible memory/story that we are so lucky to get a peek at. I love her photo and her homework. Also have to admit, those old book illustrations just send me. I have so many childrens books I just can't part with cuz they're too cute. That pencil frame is sooooo cute and I do love how you used the string/ribbon/bows to connect the different sections of your composition so marvelously.

I love your page and the bright colors and I enjoyed reading your journaling. That is amazing how many kits you used on one page! I have trouble using 2 kits for the perfectly paired challenge :) Thanks for sharing!
