The hills in California look like this when the California poppies bloom. I always mean to go out hiking when this happens, but never get around to it. You have done a lovely job with the slightly blended pic in the background and the vivid small pic in the foreground. Love the quote!!

Thank you! This was taken in CA in the Antelope Valley in LA County, where they have a golden poppy festival each April. It gets really crowded at times, but worth the views!
