Journal: The evidence of growing older is that things level off in importance… once you use to run into the bedroom when the door opened, just to take my socks, even though they were in my pant legs, you’d grab the pants too. You no longer play with my socks. You use to not like to go outside after dark, well, that hasn’t changed much unless the big dog is outside, too. You use to love Sour Cream & Onion chips. Now, you point your nose up at them. You use to sleep in a crate, now you like the foot of my bed. Some things have changed in just a handful of years.
