I do love my British shows and have been watching "Professor T" its a little like Monk I guess which incidently I couldnt get into, Professor T is quirky and humorous but deals with the usual police activites. I think there are 3 seasons but a 4th is on the way!

I decided instead of new monthly threads, I will make new threads for watching, reading, crafting, I will post them quarterly.
So they will be

🌸 Spring:
March, April, May
☀️ Summer: June, July, August
🍂 Fall (Autumn): September, October, November
❄️ Winter: December, January, February

We already did March in its own thread... so this will now be April & May. Then June I will make a thread for June, July, August.

Looking forward to chatting with you some more <3

I see many of you have watched The Pitt! I loved and it and now that the current season is over I have started binge watching ER which I loved back when it was on prime time but know I missed some of the episodes so am really enjoying going back to it.
I also recently rewatched all of the seasons of Call the Midwife which is one of my ALL TIME favorite shows and can't wait for the current season to stream.
I also watch the regular season shows of the following, some of which have recently ended for the season and others are close:

-Chicago Med
-Chicago Fire
-Chicago PD
-Doc
-Tracker
-Brillant Minds
-Boston Blue
-Fire Country
-SVU
-Shrinking

JUST yesterday got caught up on my PITT!!! Wow...
I love all of your other choices too, but I haven't done Doc or Brilliant Minds yet and I've never heard of Shrinking or Call the Midwife so I'll have to look those up.
Absolutely LOVE Wed Chicagos on NBC and Fri on CBS shows! We're "unfortunately" glued to our TV on those nights. Not crazy about Boston Blue yet. I just don't know if it's gonna make it. Love Danny, but I don't know if he can pull his own show like Frank did. He really held Blue Bloods together and I'm just not crazy about the rest of the cast in Boston. Might just be me. IDK.
We also do Matlock and Elsbeth on CBS on Thursdays and the CSI lineup on Tuesdays. I adore the new, guy playing the young Gibbs. Not just HOT, but really gives the character the depth that I'd expect him to grow into the Mark Harmon character in later years. Just makes sense.

Shrinking is on Apple TV and Harrison Ford and Jason Segel are the main actors.
Call the Midwife is a PBS show and I love it so much! Another great one is Downton Abby, which I have also watch through a couple of times and probably will watch again.
I have watched all 3 Chicago shows from the very beginning of each of them. Med is my favorite of the 3 as I really enjoy medical dramas.
I love Blue Bloods so was excited to see the spin off and while I don't think it is as good with Tom Selleck I do like it and sometimes the NYC family has some parts in Blue Bloods too. Inf fact Erin was on the most recent episode.

It's kind of crazy to me when I really think about all of the shows I do watch but that's what is so nice about streaming is I can watch them on my own time and either binge watch or spread them out.

AH! That would be why @Kristi Martin ! We don't do Apple here. SIL keeps trying to get me to switch, but no dice.
Yes, I'm very partial to Med, but hubby loves Fire, having been a volunteer for years. I just loved how Cruz brought up Otis this week to talk the "new kid" off the ledge so to speak.
Love streaming and binging while I'm scrapping and making my cards.

Oh my goodness @Kristi Martin I love Call the Midwife! I had totally forgotten about that until you mentioned it! I'm behind a few seasons, I need to pick it back up!. Shrinking is also so good <3

I think I may have already mentioned it but I LOVE Ted Lasso, like top 5 shows of all time, I highly recommend it <3 It is coming back for a fourth season this summer, I'm so excited!

I just binge watched Imperfect Women, it was a fun watch! Lots of twists and turns! It is a psychological thriller. After a murder shatters the lives of three best friends, their decades-long bond is tested when an investigation reveals betrayals and shocking truths.

Sooo for all The Pitt fans, what do you think is going to happen after Robby's shift? I'll cover this in spoilers just in case people need to get caught up, you can click on the blurred text to see the content... Do you think he left for his motorcycle ride? I don't think he goes, I think he is going to adopt the baby! I think when we come back for season 3 he will be a new dad with a whole new outlook!

If you ever need to leave a spoiler, just type your text out and then click on the three dots to expand the post options and you will see a little mask, that will put your content into a spoiler free version :)

That is so cool about how to blur the text, I had NO idea that you could do something like that. I just realized though that when I quoted your reply that it showed the spoiler text so I removed it. I really don't know what is going to happen with Robby but even if he does leave on his ride he obvioisly has to be back before whatever time frame is shown in the next season as it wouldn't be The Pitt without him. I do have to wonder about his connection to the baby. It was a very sweet last scene.

I have heard Ted Lasso is good and may add that to my summer watch list.
If I had to figure out my top favorite TV series ever, Call the Midwife would definitely be in my top 5. I can't tell you how many times that show has made me cry, sometimes happy tears, sometimes sad, but I often just have such a nice feeling after watching an episode.
Downton Abby and This is Us would also rate near the top of my list.

Kristi, I second Ted Lasso! I was hesitant to watch a "sports show" but got hooked in with all of the Kansas City references since that's local to us. But it was the true heart of the show that makes it so great! <3

Thanks! That is good to hear. My son suggested it to me and he is pretty good at knowing what I might like but it is great to hear it from others. I think it will go onto my summer watch list.

@breoni if you loved the book, I'm sure you will love the movie too, although the plot is a little bit different from the book, I've watched it twice, and I loved it, so far one of my faves movies!

I feel like I need to make a list of what I'm watching on each platform because I start so many things and then forget. Todd insists on having so many different streaming services at the same time, so it's hard for me to keep track!

The past couple of weeks, my son Braden and I (he's 21) have been watching horror movies together in the evenings. It's not really my thing, but I will do almost any activity if it means hanging out with the kids. We watched the Blair Witch Project which neither of us had ever seen, and we both loved it. I don't think I had ever watched horror before my kids got older - I did not want any of that when I was younger lol.

Things I've been wanting to start, but haven't yet: Imperfect Women, Beef, The Housemaid

Some of the things I've been watching by streaming service:

Netflix:
Worst Ex Ever
Age of Attraction
Unchosen (just started a couple episodes)
Virgin River

Prime:
The Morning Show
The Last Thing He Told Me
Platonic

Hulu:
The Kardashians
The Testaments

Apple TV:
Margo's Got Money Troubles

Disney:
Welcome to Plathville

HBO Max:
The Comeback
Euphoria
The Gilded Age
The Pitt

Kelley! I completely understand. I'll start watching a show and then will forget which platform it was on! LOL!

I was able to watch the Netflix adaptation of Remarkably Bright Creatures last night. While I felt the pacing was a bit off in some areas, the casting was absolutely perfect. I very much enjoyed the show and how they were able to translate the story to screen.

@kelley we watch a lot of the same shows! :)

I’m still shocked no one here watches Survivor! lol The finale is this week, most of my favorites are gone, but I’m still excited to see who wins! :)

Anyone watch the MVP Fights last night on Netflix? I watched them with my dad. It was crazy, all but 1 ended in the first round!! Haha so it was pretty disappointing.

@ginger Todd and I do sometimes watch Survivor!! We usually will binge a season every once in a while lol. I haven't been watching the current season.

We did watch the MVP Fights last night!! I actually ended up falling asleep part of the way through though lol.

I don't think we turned the TV on all weekend. Hubby was motivated to clean out his closest so he could make room for all of his new shirts. He's addicted to the brand RSVLTS (pronounced Roosevelts) and he always gets tons of compliments when he wears the button down shirts. So I used my crafting genes to organize his closet by color and it was beautiful. He's losing weight and is currently between sizes, so he had the idea to put the larger size on darker colored hangers, and the smaller size on lighter color hangers. His closet looks like something in a magazine.

However, the decades worth of crap... I mean... his priceless treasures that were oh so important to hold on to... are now scattered throughout our living room and bedroom. So that is what we will be tackling this week. I'm hopeful he will let most of it go. Yeah, I'm not holding my breath. LOL.

If anyone wants to check out the RSVLTS brand, you can use this code to get a discount: https://prz.io/kQ05ALdIB Hubby mostly buys the Disney, NASA, and Star Wars fandom shirts. I mostly get the performance hoodies because they are so soft and stretchy that I live in them! LOL!

I started to binge-watch a fun, light K-drama... only to find that not all episodes have been released yet! LOL!!! If you've not delved into K-dramas yet, allow me to recommend the following: Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Mr. Queen, The Uncanny Counter, and When Life Gives You Tangerines.

Its been a minute but as its the last day, Im just telling you what Ive been watching,

Mount Pleasant on Acorn TV a British light-hearted series (6 Seasons) several families in a small community and their daily fun/struggles/drama. Im almost to the end. Its a great show and I wish there were more. If you watch a lot of British shows, there are a lot of familiar faces.

Coroner on Prime, this is set in Canada about a female coroner with a tumultuous private life, teams up with a seasoned detective to solve crimes.
It has some light hearted moments but it is a serious series. Im really enjoying it and I wish there were more seasons but it has 4 seasons.

And for some background while designing, Im listening to Kendall Rae Podcast/ Youtube videos about True life crime. there are loads to watch and listen to, you can also watch her on Tubi.

See you in June/July

We have a new thread for SUMMER :) Join us there to discuss our summer media <3
