I am so bummed. I had every single layout I've done since coming back to the community up there cataloged by designer!

Is there any other place besides Pinterest that is similar in layout as ScrapStacks? Where are the ScrapStacks peeps moving to?

I love GS and I will NEVER leave, but SS has been really good to help me keep my CT duties happening smoothly. Pinterest crashes regularly on me. LOL
 
You could try Flickr. I have a few CT members that use that. You can make albums/collections to keep per designer.
 
You can change the privacy settings for the individual LO's on Flickr or have them all be private.
 
I had literally thousands of layouts there. I've been posting there since the day it opened. It was my most compete gallery, now it's all gone. I post my layouts to Pinterest and Scrapbook.com. I will say that I've gotten more comments, shares, and likes at those 2 places that I ever did at ScrapStacks. (and I was on the praise team there last year, yet I got very few comments - go figure!)
 
I will miss Scrapstacks too mostly for its ease of posting. I love that I could post my layout at the store it belonged to then just highlight the info and push 1 button and boom my layout was stored somewhere else. So nice! I hope someone else will start up something like it again.
 
I have lost so many galleries at this point! I used to keep them all in one place. So sad to see another open gallery close
 
I have everything on Flickr which is my complete gallery. There are dozens of flickr groups dedicated to scrapping and I often share my layouts to those groups. The Daily digi picks there GSOs from their flickr group. I relay like it because I can upload full size and categorize into albums. I often have the same layout in several categories. For instance I sort by theme, CT, pet name, occasion. I really like it a lot.

I'll have to check this out. I had been posting all my LO on photobucket; but its been full for a while and I don;t want to pay for it. Do you have to pay for Flikr?
 
You don't have to join groups but it helps if you want to share your designers pages. I iwll be back with a list of groups and links.

when I upload my photo, it asks me which albums I want to put it in, and then in the next section, it asks which groups I want to add it to. Once you join a group, it shows up in the groups pull down menu, and you just select it. Flickr automatically adds the photo to the groups you select. It is really easy.

Do you get involved in the discussions at all, or just post your layouts? Do you comment on other people's pages? Where do you do that?

I don't do the discussions. I do like and comment on pages though. If you move your cursor over a photo, on the bottom right had corner you will see a star and conversation balloon. To add a layout to your favorites you click on the star, to comment put it over the conversation balloon.

I also follow people, and I mostly comment on their pages.
 
I have or had a flickr acct. I stopped using it awhile ago. Now, I'm not sure if I remember 'where' it is or 'what' my pw was. LOL.
I used to post there with Hummie's group.

I always thought flickr was just like photobucket; to store stuff on. Who knew there was a whole world over there!?!?!

Shellby's site is great too but (sorry Shellby) I always forget to post there!! :blush
 
Now this is weird...when I 'found' me on Flickr...I needed help with my pw [what a surprise], and then the email came in with notice about my yahoo email. I don't even know what my yahoo email is anymore.
