Change gallery setting so newest layouts show first??

I am a bit puzzled... in my personal gallery, all the layouts are shown with the newest layout first -> to oldest layouts last. But in the other galleries (i.e.... challenge galleries) the layouts are shown by either name of layout or oldest layouts first. Is there a way to set it so that it always shows the newest layouts (by posting date) first to oldest layouts last? It is a pain to have go in each time I put a layout in the challenge galleries and have have to change the settings. Thanks for any help you can give.

Yes.
In the challenge gallery itself, scroll to the bottom where it says display options.
I set mine to:
Sort by: posted date
Time Frame: Beginning
Order: Desending

Don't know if this will help, but I also have mine set as Michi indicates above so I have newest layouts showing first and oldest layouts showing last. This is at the very bottom of the screen when I view a gallery- I just happened to be in the Color Challenge Gallery when I grabbed a screenshot.

Checked my settings and they are set just like you showed. Switched them off then back on to what you showed... just in case.

Then I got smart - clicked on Challenge Layouts [the main one with a listing of all the challenge layout galleries]. Found the display options there and changed them to date posted, descending. HOORAY!!! That did it! Thanks for all your help.

I showed that, too... but I was having to change each gallery when I opened it... Was a PITA to do each one as I came to them. Glad to have found an overall one that changed them all at one go. Thanks for trying to help. Guess it is a learning curve for each new forum/gallery I go to... LOL

I'm having the same issues as the OP was. I have all my settings just like you say. When I go to the gallery, I have to change it every time, because the changes won't stick!
