WORK - Aaaahhhhhhhhh

Work has been so stressful lately. We are short handed and I'm trying to train a new teller, which by the way went home sick on her first day and today didn't show up at all. She said she wasn't sure if she was suppose to come in. Really, call and ask. There is more to it....hopefully tomorrow they are suppose to meet whether or not they are (WELL ME) continue to train her....ARE YOU KIDDING ME...:yell.let her go!!!

Sorry....I wasn't going to say all of that....what I was going to say is that they blocked Ginger Scraps from me at work. Another REALLY!! everyone has a place they go to and GS was mine. These last couple of weeks have been crazy busy and I wouldn't get on when we are busy but when its slow, I'll make comments or comment in threads. So work has really gotten to me lately!!! I work hard, as a matter of fact I didn't get lunch last Friday, didn't get lunch today nor will I the rest of the week. I'm exhausted.

THanks lady for letting me vent. GS has been really good for me. You ladies are really the best.

Pray that I have a better week!!

Ahh- sorry to hear the workplace has been so stressful. Can't believe you aren't even getting your lunch breaks- surely they must realize the impact that has on staff moral. Hopefully, they decide to let the new girl go and replace her with someone who is willing to work through while feeling lousy. I found it always stressful to train new people. It is extra work and really interferes with getting your own normal routine responsibilities completed. Hugs to you.

oh no that sucks, I work for myself so only have hubby & myself to blame for stress .. which is everyday ha ha

Hubby gets cranky when i log into Ginger Scraps too as I am usually not doing work or I am spending money on all the pretties!

Well they have decided to keep her....I don't think they can admit they were wrong. I did go to the big boss today and told him...ya know if we can't trust her to be her on time and to be honest, how are we going to trust her with large sums of money!?!?! No lunch today either. And we get in trouble for overtime. He suggested I come in an hour later...I just told him I wasn't going to do that because it is not my fault we are short handed and it still doesn't fix the issue of not eating. I'm Off tomorrow so I'm ready for a break. Well sorta....I have to figure out what is wrong with my Cameo!!! I took me like 10 tries to get my printer working and then the STUPID cameo isn't cutting. AND...it's a project I grabbed a kit from in the store for the 4th. So frustrating.!!! I hope it's okay to vent.....it's helping

Yep....I barely got "My" job done. We have a older guy teller and he is intentionally slow and lazy!! It's just been rough....it's gotta get easier!

That's funny he checks to see if you are online! lol. I did try to work on a project tonight....took (SERIOUSLY) about 10 times to print...printer issues. AND now my silhouette won't cut. It was from a kit I wanted to post the project tonight for the 4th. I don't know if I want to scream, cry or just laugh hysterically like a mad woman!!

Thanks Em!! I didn't eat my breakfast burrito (from McDonalds) until about 1:40. I was starting to get very cranky and a huge headache. I'm off tomorrow....that's all I kept telling myself. LOL

It's a small home town bank. And for the most part things go okay. I just don't understand what they are doing about the new girl!! In 3 days, she's went home sick and didn't show up one day. They decided today she has two strikes...one more and she's gone....REALLY? Two strikes in 3 days = gone!!! Oh well...it's going to be fun training a person that you can't trust and with money too!

Sounds like a rough few days. I had trouble getting a project to print over the last few days. I had to highlight the elements on the 'send' window and change from no cut to cut. It would do that for just a few elements I was cutting. Strangest thing!

On the bright side - I got the following done for my niece's bachelorette party. It was the first time I had worked with vinyl on glass, and the first time I had done a multi-layered t-shirt. Not sure why they are posting sideways, they are the right way up on the screen Just turn your head! haha. The shirt is the bride's shirt. The bridesmaids are the dwarfs (drunky, crazy, silly and sassy!)
