....has trouble calling a page "done"? Who loves minimalistic style? Who loves lots of stuff on their pages? Tell me your story.
My story: I fiddle, fuddle, faddle, add, remove, nudge, add some more.....ongoing! I just LOVE minimalistic design but have so much difficulty with the style because I can never say "finished". When I think I am done, I actually go back to the kit and look to see if there is anything ELSE I can add
. I always love the neat and clean minimalistic work of certain scrappers (Gaelle, Heidi McGregor, Cassandy come to mind...hope they don't mind me mentioning them). I start out to emulate their work and before I know it, my page has become full of bits and pieces all by itself!!!
After some serious self analysing over the years, I have decided that the reason I fiddle around so much is that I am having FUN adding bits and playing around on the page, that I am having SO much fun that I don't WANT to say "finished", and that I LIKE my filled up pages when they finally get completed
SO my name is Jill and I am a fiddler
.......but I still yearn to happily create minimalism.
Edit: As I work on my current LO, another introspective thought has popped into my head....my photos are mostly point and shoot, or phone photos, no photography skills here sadly
...perhaps I subliminally make up for that with excess of bits.......
