Who else is getting hammered by the weather today???

So we've had a very mild winter here in SouthEastern Ontario. Very little snow, warm temperatures (several weekends ago I was running outside in shorts and a short-sleeved top!) and not much to complain about.

Today we are basically getting the most snow of the entire winter. 15-35 cm forecast before it is all done. My workplace, which normally has an evening clinic on Tuesdays, shut down at 1600 (4 PM). I normally work until 1630 (4:30 PM). So not a snow day for us (and for the schools, it's March Break, so they were off anyway, but the university was open, as they had Reading Week back in February).

Two of my three morning clients showed up (I'm a registered dietitian), but all of my afternoon clients cancelled. So I ended up doing lots of paperwork, and a bit of continuing education.

Anyone else dealing with the worst weather of the winter today?

It is spring break here and it has snowed the last couple of days. Stink! But it was too warm to stick. Less than a week ago it was 80! Wish it would warm up a little.

Cold here in southern Manitoba but warm weather is on it's way tomorrow. We had our share this winter with 3 blizzards and around 60cm snow altogether but we also had unusual highs for a few days in January at +3...weird year. Take care Caylynn!

It's been a very mild winter here in Buffalo, NY...and we are getting some unwanted blizzard-like conditions here the past couple days. Tomorrow will be day 2 of the schools being closed which makes me think we are becoming a little "soft" around here. I think the schools have some "snow days" they want to use because we've been through worse and stayed open. But, the kids aren't sad at all! LOL

I say Mother Nature had her chance with winter and she blew it...no fair making it up in March when we have high school baseball games scheduled in 3 weeks! Hahaha...

Nope, not the worst of this winter. We had the big blizzard back right before February break for the schools (around the 12th) where we had 40 inches (101 cm) in one storm. This storm last night was about 15 inches (38 cm) so just a baby blizzard compared to the last one. The winds have been horrific but thankfully we never lost power.

I can totally handle the accumulation, shoveling and the driving...just NOT losing power...that's the worst! Thankfully we haven't lost power here...

Well we have Michigan weather so, this morning I was still wearing a coat then when I fetched my daughter from the bus stop I was already sweating.
