Where's Danica? RQOTD...what was your favourite childhood food?

I just finished a bowl of Apple Jacks Cereal. My son asked if we could buy them last night so he could try them.

The first bite brought me right back to my childhood. I would take the box and sit in front of the TV and just snack on the cereal like they were chips. :) I haven't eaten sugary cereal in at least 25 years and boy, it just whipped me back.

What are some of your fave childhood foods?
 
That's a really tough question because I was a REALLY picky eater growing up!!

I would say my favorite food was mushroom pizza & spaghetti from a place called Frantone's near our house. It's still there and we still go once in a while when we go to my mom's house. I wouldn't say it brings back "good childhood memories" because those are few & far between, but it still makes me very happy! :)
 
My dad's breakfasts.
Every Sunday he'd make breakfast.
Biscuits and gravy and sausage, and not from a can. I hate gravy, but OH GOD, his biscuits were amazing.
His omelets and scrambled eggs. His ALWAYS perfect sunny-side-up eggs.
His pancakes.
Bacon.
Home fries.

I miss my dad's breakfasts the most living so far away from them
 
I also didn't know they had Grape Pop-tarts!!

Um - tough question - I'll have to think about this one!
