WHen you need to step back and relax do you scrap?

Yeah, actually I do. I also love reading, so when I need an escape from the world, I choose one of these activities and get into "flow" so people have to work to get my attention. :)

Since rediscovering digi-scrap I do find it is a great way to step back. I usually turn off the TV and just immerse myself and it is wonderful. For a hour or two I am just using my creativity and reliving fun memories.

Scrapping is always my time to relax, get creative and just tune out the world. I like to read and binge watch shows too but I scrap more than anything else.

This! When I wasn't scrapbooking I took to other creative hobbies like coloring and cross-stitching to relax. I'd forgotten that scrapbooking can be therapeutic and relaxing too.

My favorite ways to relax are revolve around photos... either taking photos, editing them, or scrapping them. I also love to read. I always have in an audio book when I'm out walking every day. The perfect time to scrapbook for me is in the wintertime when it's all snowy and cold outside. I love to wake up early when the house is so quiet and I can focus on the project or page at hand. I'll fix myself a hot beverage (usally a cafe latte) and just enjoy the process. Ahhh... bliss!

I'd love to say I do it in the evenings but the truth is, my evening is usually around 2am! (Lol) I work nights so my schedule is so different from everyone elses... Since I don't want to wake the whole house up, scrapping is one of my favorite ways to calm down after a rough shift....
