....screen size do you work with when scrapping? Huge? Big? Medium? Small?

I do all my scrapping on a 15.6in laptop computer...15.6in is the diagonal measurement of the screen. This means that the largest size my actual LO can be fully seen on the photoshop screen is about 6.5in x 6.5in. Of course I zoom in and out as I need to and I never print bigger than 8 x 8 so not too much difference there. I'm quite happy with this...I don't want a desktop computer with a larger screen as I find the laptop is just perfect for me, nor do I want a bigger size laptop. I can, if I want to, hook into the TV screen (I think) but I mostly multitask....scrapping whilst watching TV:) Tell me YOUR story......

Thanks for the reply:) What size approx would the LO be when viewed full size on the iPad screen.? A good deal smaller than a laptop screen no doubt:)

I scrap on my iPad Air 2. My page being square on it.
I didn't know you could scrap on an iPad.
i just got a new iPad for my birthday and I'm not sure how I would scrap with it.

to respond to Jill's question- I scrap on a desktop and have 2 monitors. Each are 27 inches and I ❤️❤️❤️ them! Usually I will have photoshop open on the left monitor. The kit and photos on the right monitor. I can split the right screen if I chose so both are visible or I toggle between the 2. I drag what I want from the right side onto the layer of the LO on the left. It automatically names the layer kit item with whatever name the designer gave it.
I will have to measure the size of the LO when at the computer next.

its hard on me to use the laptop to scrap, but I will if away on vacation or at a " scrap-together ".

There are two computers that I scrap on (I keep my photos and scrap supplies on an EHD so I can use either computer if I want). One is a 21.5 inch iMac, whose large size I love, but it isn't terribly portable, so I end up doing more of my scrapping on my 13 inch Macbook Air, which is extremely light and portable, but obviously has a much smaller screen. The Air is nice, since I can bring it to work to scrap on my lunch hour and my breaks. But the screen of the iMac is very nice, even if it's an older model now (2013).

On my monitor my 12 x 12 LO will measure a 'real' 11x11 inches on the screen with plenty of room on the sides for the panels, currently nested plus the tool bar.

You all sound so much more technically advanced than I, and I shudder to think what my LOs might look like on a 27' monitor. I wont be changing from my 15.6in laptop though..love it!!

What do you use to scrap on your iPad? What apps? Can you use templates with the app(s)?

i use a number of different apps. Affinity App is very similar to PS, and allows templates. Over App, Moldiv App, are a few more. Then numerous ones for effects and edits

Thanks! I have an iPad Pro, so I'm very interested in seeing if I can scrap on it. I'll check out those apps - thanks again!

Everything is done on my MacBook Pro that is pushing 5 years old. Still running strong like the workhorse that it is. I love it! i do occasionally use my Samsung tablet and phone to do ProjectLifeApp pages for those "less than exciting" photos that still need to be documented but not in a LO that takes several hours to create.

Ah Michelle, I want to be you when I grow up. I want a double monitor. My current set up is a 4k monitor 32" I believe. I really would love to have another one that I can have netflix playing on and my photo or kit open. I love this monitor though because a 12x12 layout really is 12x12. I can zoom it up to 14x14 if I need to but that doesn't happen too often. I do use my laptop when I travel or go to scrap-aways but I prefer my desktop.
