What size do you save to print at?

It's been a looooong time since I've printed pages. What size do you save your pages to print? I'm so used to doing 600X600 I can't remember what's the best size to save for print. TIA

I save the jpeg at full size (3600x3600) and print from that. I typically print 8x8 but have also printed 12x12 and both look great.

I size down my 12x12 pages to 8x8. I print on my home printer and put in page protectors than I put them in a three-ring binder. I have to add that I do not scrap chronologically and I do not put my pages in chronological order in my binder. I think it's the randomness of doing it this way is what motivates me to scrap more because I scrap what the "mood" tells me to. Although I rarely scrap pictures from many years ago, I few do pop up in my books.

i make all my pages 12x12 300 dpi and when I print I keep them 300dpi and change the size to what I'm printing. Don't use save for web because it will take data away. For printing you want to keep as much data as you can. I actually like to print TIFF but not a lot of places use it so I use high quality jpeg.

I save as 3600x3600 jpg for printing, online display I tend to use save for web with the size, but not for my originals.

I save mine 3600 x 3600 at 300dpi too. I use a save action by Wendy Zine. It saves 12x12 but I print 8x8.

That's so interesting! I don't scrap chronologically, but I store them that way in my books. I wonder if storing them in the order I scrap them would be inspiring or make my brain explode, LOL. I would probably end up scrapping the same story five times or something though.

I am with the general group here... I do 12x12 (3600x3600) at 300dpi. Anything over 212 dpi should print well, but 300 is standard, since the kits are done at 300 dpi.

I use Photoshop CC, which has a save for web under File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy). This give you the opportunity to change to 600x600 toward the bottom and you can adjust the quality by small percentages if the estimate is above the size you can post at GS.

If you are using Photoshop CC, you can also take all your layered files in a folder and perform a script on them to save them all at full size under File > Scripts > Image Processor

I'm with Jen on this - I can't imagine not having my stuff in random order. I envy the freedom of expression you have. Mine are all printed in 12x12, but in a HUGE stack waiting to be filed.
